Supported Kenya’s 2018 UN Country Team Gender Scorecard and led the 2022 Kenya and 2024 Tanzania exercises, translating system-wide standards into evidence review, assessment, reporting and institutional follow-up.
Strengthened the integration of gender equality and LNOB considerations in strategic planning, review and implementation processes.
Worked with government and partners on linking gender equality to planning, budgeting, administrative data and public-sector accountability.
Supported donor-facing briefs, funding propositions and strategic partnerships; earlier in my career, drafted renewable-energy proposals that secured approximately US$380,000 from bilateral and multilateral partners.
Connected global normative frameworks—including the Commission on the Status of Women, Universal Periodic Review and Voluntary National Review—to country-level reporting, policy engagement and UN system accountability.
Served as Acting Deputy Country Representative, providing delegated approvals, programme oversight, management support and external representation during a period of organizational and funding pressure.
